Is Amway a cult?

The rumours of an Amway cult have long been an allegation and comparison made between the secretive and mysterious ways of the Amway business, it's leaders and business practices. Cult experts have put together very comprehensive research on reasons why Amway is a cult, and I will leave it to you to read their important research and comparisons on why such multi level marketing businesses can be so dangerous to people.

Below is a picture of Marshall Applewhite cult leader of Heaven's gate, and the other is Dexter Yager. The simillarities are very curious.

Amway aside, Dex has some very strong beliefs. The christian cult like beliefs he rams down people's throats in his books and interviews is very disturbing. To force the cult of religion on everyone is very disturbing. There is however very good research to indicate those who believe is religion usually have a lower IQ score.

Dexter has reportedly also allowed George W. Bush (Republican / Christian extremist fanatic) to send messages through an Amway voicemail system to thousands of downline distributors. This same identical move was made by celebrity scientologist Nancy Cartright. Maybe they brought this same voicemail system from some identical specilist cult products manufacturer?
